Skylar Chavez Visit
In May 2019 our volunteer Skylar Chavez lived in the village. Chavez a well-known Marin basketball star is quoted by the Marin IJ as stating: The experience left an indelible mark on me and I hope to go back in the future.
Skylar was able to meet the students and the villagers during his short stay. He showed the boys drills for their soccer play and instructed the parents how to set up goal posts so that balls were no longer lost in the bush.
